OATMEAL CAKE TOPPING  

INGREDIENTS
3/4 cup brown sugar
4 teaspoons butter
1/4 cup cream or milk (Half & Half is good)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup coconut
1/2 cup chopped nuts

INSTRUCTIONS
Cook for 3 or 4 minutes: brown sugar, butter, cream or milk and vanilla. Add coconut and nuts to mixture and beat. Spread on cake while HOT.
