Nedley’s Maple Walnut Cookies
Anti-depression cookies, one of my friends calls them. Omega-3 has been shown to help many people who have depression, and these cookies are high in those good fats. And when it comes to healthy cookies, you don’t get tastier than these! From: WholeHealthLifestyle.com

Recipe Notes

Chef’s note: These cookies come from the book Depression, the Way Out by Dr. Neil Nedley. Chocolate contains caffeine, and it also has an opiate effect on the consumer; therefore, Dr. Nedley recommends using carob instead of chocolate. Because it is very difficult to find carob chips that are both gluten-free AND vegan, raisins are included as an option. Vegan chocolate chips could be used, if desired.
