Ingredients
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/8 cup dates
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 1 cup water (separate from the first 1/4 cup)
- 1 cup non-dairy milk of choice
- 1 cup berries
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt, optional

Instructions
- Heat the 1/4 cup water and the dates while getting the rest of the ingredients together.
- Add all the ingredients and bring to a boil. Lower heat to low and cook for 10 minutes or more.
- Serve with whipped coconut milk topping and a sprinkle of walnuts (optional).
